The long-awaited moment has arrived for the residents of Cambridge as they eagerly plunge into the waters of the brand new multi-generational swimming complex. This state-of-the-art facility promises a world of aquatic fun and relaxation for the entire community.
The complex boasts an impressive array of amenities, including a newly constructed 10-lane 25m indoor pool, an indoor toddler pool, a hydrotherapy pool, a rejuvenating spa, and sauna. Outside, there’s a thrilling children’s splash pad and an upgrade to the existing 5m pool.
The local iwi has gifted the name “Puna Kaukau o Te Oko Horoi,” adding a touch of cultural significance to this cherished gathering place. Additionally, as a token of appreciation for the generous $300,000 donation from the Brian Perry Charitable Trust towards the construction, the complex will be named Perry Aquatic Centre for the next decade.
The complex has equipped its bathrooms with Supreme Airforce hand dryers. These robust units ensure rapid and efficient hand drying, using minimal power. Perfectly suited for high-use public facilities, these hand dryers exemplify the commitment to sustainability and seamless functionality.
